Sabine Smith is a freelance offline editor specialising in television comedy. ​

She entered the industry as a negative cutter, working in the editorial department on such feature films as In Bruges and How To Lose Friends and Alienate People, where she first became fascinated by the editor's fusion of storytelling, comedy and technology.

Starting as an assistant editor in television, Sabine worked on such acclaimed comedy series as

In The Long Run 1-3 (Sky), Maxxx (Channel 4) and Peng Life (Channel 4). She then graduated to the role of series editor on the popular sitcom Man Like Mobeen (BBC Three).

Her recent credits include the BAFTA award-winning BBC comedy Black Ops, the BAFTA-nominated ITVX teen comedy G'wed, and the BBC comedy-drama Crongton, based on the series of best-selling YA novels. Outside of the edit suite, Sabine can be found adding to her ever-growing collections of vintage movie posters, cookbooks and jumpsuits.
